LeBron is NBA 2010 MVP once again! What a honor! He was announced and presented the award today before tip-off for their second round Game 2 on Monday night!

Brett Michaels, 47 (lead singer of Po sin and "star" of Rock of Love - all 2308398424 seasons and contestant on The Apprentice) suffered from a brain hemorrhage yesterday. Michaels claimed that he was having a headache which turned out to be a massive brain hemorrhage.

He is still in the ICU and is reportedly experiencing set-backs and is at a possible risk of seizures.

Thoughts are prayers are with him ... he must get better, I live for Rock of Love!!

APRIL REIGN!

Okay, April Reign has just kicked off! The campus is unreal right now! Like I said, we all live for this! And BOY is it showing. Events officially start in a half hour ... I will keep you updated with who wins ... GDI or SORORITIES???

April Reign ??

Say what? If you go to be BW then you know what BW (probably why you picked BW as your college) but if you don't ... let me explain! April Reign is the one weekend that all of BW looks forward too! It doesn't matter if your in the con, or an athlete, or just a normal student .... April Reign is well April REIGN!

April Reign is where different teams, mainly there are four types ... GDI (Independant), Sorierties/Faternity, Reccos (SOCCER team) or Commuters. There are 4 events held on Friday and Saturday. Chariot, Obstacle, Tug, and Boat.

The event it unreal, we are all striving for teh same thing... the TROPHEY.

I will keep you updated on what is up!!!

Nanny?

Okay NYC bound babies ... I have a suggestion for us. Why are we busting our butts throughout college when all we have to do is be a nanny. I have not babysat since I was literally like in 9th grade, but was asked to babysit today. WOW! I forgot how much fun it was t play with little kids!!

On to my idea ... why not just find a NYC power couple and nanny for them? Free lodging in NY freaking C, and probably a MAD paycheck that you don't have to blow on rent AND of course an awesome job with probably the cutest kids ever!

I'm not trying to be a mom, but I got mad love for the working women who needs a little help.

GIRLS!

So i'm in this inbetween stage of having bangs/not having bangs and I have been having trouble figuring out what to do with them so I don't like 1. Alphalpha 2. the devil (horns)! Headbands used to work, but my inbetweens are just to long! LUCKILY for me...I found a an article in the May 2010 issue of Glamor that featured an article "Two Minutes To Pretty Hair"

Basically all you need to do is twist and pin up one side and you have one of the hottest hairdos in the industry ... wanna know how?

1. Prep the front. Make a side part (dry hair).

2. Do the twist. Roll your hair by twisting the back section and away from your face. (The tighter you twist the more retro it looks)

3. Pin it down. Slip a bobby pin in place, then lock it down by putting a second one through your hair and over the first, creating an X.

Spritz with hairspray ... and on you go you fashion diva you!

I need to vent. Went to buy my Lady Gaga tickets on Monday for the Indianopolis show and ... NO LUCK! So upset, went into a depression for 5 mins! I called my mom and she said "OH, yeah I heard they were sold out before they even went on sale to the public.... sweet.

Okay Clevelanders - did you know that Cleveland has their own fashion week? AND it's the nation's THIRD largest fashion week after New York and Los Angelas? Yeah, me either until recently. I was was doing my daily fashion creepin' and came across Cleveland's fashion week site. AHMAZING.

This year CFW will run April 30-May 8


Cleveland Fashion week was founded in 2003 by a man named Donald Shingler. He was a cosmetic dentist and longtine Cleveland rez. The weeklong event is held in spring and highlings the region's fashion community.


*The week long even includes everything form seminars to films and parties and lectures in bewtween, and of course a FASHION SHOW on the final day where local and emerging designers to show their stuff!


HOW EXCITING! SO being totally intregied I enquired about volunteering and I was suprised to get a response from Erin(director) so quickly (5 mins). Unfortunantly the meetings are on Wednesday and I have night class! But you better believe that I am ALL over it next year!

As you may know/watched Tiger had yet another press conferecne/interview to kick off the Master's. If you watched then you could tell nobody really cared about his return, reporters are STILL asking about his "accident" that happened in NOVEMBER, it's APRIL! BUT the interview/press conference ended with golf talk, which makes me happy, because that is what he is payed to do.

You still have fans, you still have a wife (i don't know how), and you are still good at golf, your life isn't that bad.

April is here which meens the newest issues of Glamour and Cosmopolitan will be in my mailbox any day now ... I think it would be a neat experiment to compare and contrast the two - get excited and stay tuned for my report ...

TWITTER. If you don't have one, get one! It is UNcleREAL how many people on BW campus is getting one! I've been tweeting for a little less than a year, and when I first started NOBODY even had heard of twitter, now I can't keep up with everyone who is getting one! DEF becoming the lastest trend!

I was at a party last night, and 4 people came up to me and told me they legit follow me on daily basis! (not a joke) WHOA, INSANE! And as the days go by more and more people are getting twitter! And they are people who I wouldn't even imagine tweeting, but I freaking love it! Just one more way to stay connected.

Wow. Totally didn't expect that! My roomates and I saw "The Last Song" last night, and boy did it tug on my heart strings. I practically cried throughout half of the movie! The movie was BRILLIANTLY written and acted! There is so much more than just your traditional "love story" going on! I liked it so much that I am going again, tomorrow. UNcleREAL!

FINALLY!

March 31st is FINALLY here! My roommates and I have been waiting in anticipation for the movie "The Last Song!" We have been google/YouTube fools over the past few days trying to find anything that includes Liam Hemsworth! (Miley Cyrus' love interest)

From the trailer the movie looks to be SUPER cute but we aren't holding our breaths (Nights in Rodanthe) and are hoping that it isn't a trailer tease.

The movie is based off a Nicholas Sparks book, it is set in a small Southern beach town where an estranged father gets to spend the summer with his two children, one being Miley Cyrus (Ronnie). He tries to reconnect with her through the one thing they have in common - music. This is a story about family, friendship, secrets, and salvation, along with first loves and second chances.

Will you be seeing "The Last Song?!?!"

And if your a Miley hater ... don't go see the movie, its S I M P L E.

Kelly Cutrone. If you don't know that name, LEARN. Kelly Cutrone is a hardcore fashion publisher and founder of People's Revolution, a PR agency that reps mad talent and produces sick fashion shows.

She has appeared on three MTV shows True Life, The Hills, and The City. Someone FINALLY got smart and gave her her own show on Bravo, Kell on Earth. The show is hilarious and totally outrageous. Kelly is BRUTALALY honest & r.e.a.l. Her motto is "if you have to cry, go outside... if that doens't tell you something. Kell on Earth also protrays how the fashion PR industry works. I think it was created to scare us "know-it-all" NYC bound college KIDS to have our stuff together if you want to make it in the industry!

I have creeped on many websites hoping to find an ounce of a synopsis BUT have found nothing but "spoilers/rumors" which I will not post because I think they are soo annoying and usually false!

so you wanna have a job in fashion?

I'm the cliche PR major. As the Pussycat Dolls say/sing, I want the bright lights, long nights, high rise, and overtime! I basically live my life through shows like "Kell on Earth," and "How to Make it America!" I'm on my BB (blackberry) constantly checking perezhilton.com to make sure I'm fully updated on ALL the celebrity drama, because DUH, I obviously don't have enough of my own, and I have a subscription to almost every fashion magazine that exists, and if I don't, I buy it.

But the most cliche thing about my PR life is ....

I want to live in New York City, work for a kick-butt PR firm and rule the world one fashion client at a time. (Just clicked my red iconic peep toe "Quiet" Jimmy Choos 3 times)

This is a HUGE dream for a girl from Lorain, OH, DUH! I have known from my first PR class at Baldwin-Wallace that I would forever be entranced by the work of a PR professional. I also know I should have gone to a fashion school of some sort like Kent, or The University of Cincinnati, or even the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, but I picked Baldwin-Wallace because I chose to continue my volleyball career, and when I look back on the past three years, I wouldn't trade it for anything! BUT I do realize that this choice has put me WAY behind on the fashion career game.

SO that is why I buy and read every book/article that will help better educate me on the crazy ever changing fashion world.

I am in the middle of reading "The Teen Vogue Hand Book - An Insider's Guide to Careers in Fashion." If you are a MAJOR fashion fan, or even just a little interested, read it! There are 6 subjects including, Designers, Editors, Stylists, Models, Beauty, and Photo. The book is a SICK guide to help you learn about some of the most important/influential people in the Fashion world! OH yeah, if you buy this book, it comes with a FREE subscription to Teen Vogue, naturally.

I've also have dug my face into "The Fashion Book." It is basically an A-Z guide to the people who have inspired and created fashion. There are over 450 designers, photographers, models and iconic individuals featured, these are the people who have given fashion a name!

If you have a passion for fashion, educate yourself.

Lady Gaga Comes to Cleveland!

FINALLY! Gaga has kept Cleveland fans waiting long enough. She was supposed to bring her love to Cleveland awhile back, but KAYNE WEST had to be a ... well you know, and she cancelled on him and us!! GaGa doesn't need anyone to headline with her ... you know with her 4 number one hits and all!

Lady Gaga will be bringing her Monster Ball to Cleveland on July 14th, 2010. Tickets go on sale at 10:00 am on Friday at LiveNation.com! Tickets are expected be sold out very quickly!!
